Hi,
I updated AnyPortrait 1.2.6 to 1.3.2/1.3.3 and I found a bug, and it's a serious problem needs to be fixed immediately.
I added my portrait from PSD file, it automatically generated the atlas. That's ok.
Mesh Group is ok too in the beginning (standard 4 vertices on corners for all meshes). But when you start adding your custom verticles,
Mesh Group goes mad. Same atlas image overlaps the multiple times.
Currently I cannot continue to make portrait animation because of this problem.
When I encounter this problem, immediately checked the my old portrait animation made in AnyPortrait, luckily they does not have this problem. Upgrading the version does not affect them.
Due this bug, creating a new animation impossible. In the Mesh Group preview, same atlas image overlaps over and over. We cannot see the original portrait.
Thank you!
Hi!
Oh.. this seems like a pretty extreme example.
It's not a bug, but it's just a specification.
If the user changes the size of a bone and the user cannot visually see it in the workspace, the user can get confused.
As in case (1) below, if there are only bones without meshes, the Scale value should be shown visually.
However, depending on the task, if the size of the bone is too large, you can change the setting in the Setting Dialog as in (2).
You can change the default size of the bones, or set whether the size of the bones changes according to the zoom of the workspace.

Please adjust the settings to suit your working environment.
Thank you! :)
Hi. I found a bug on AnyPortrait 1.3.2/1.3.3
When you scale a mesh through bone, it also scale the bone marker.
I think bone marker size should stay remain, am I right? Because it makes hard to see right now.
Hi. Thanks for your detailed feedback. I hope we'll see this suggestions in the app soon. It makes more useful 😊
Hi!
First, I'm glad the problem has been resolved. :)
We will respond to your additional comments as follows.
1. Selecting multiple meshes
AnyPortrait was initially designed to select only one object in the Hierarchy on the left, so implementing multiple selection is not easy.
We believe that there is no need to select multiple objects except in special cases.
However, one of those "special cases" would be when "automatic mesh generation" is performed in batches.
This issue has some caveats such as "whether the selected mesh's Area is set correctly", "difference in density of automatically generated meshes", etc.
Addressing these seems to require a different approach than "multiple selection".
So we will think a little more about the implementation of this issue and update it.
If there are no major issues, we will implement this feature.
2. Multiple selection and editing of vertices on a mesh
Although there is no Lasso tool, it is possible to select and edit multiple vertices when editing a mesh in AnyPortrait.
Please check the following manual page.
Note that we already provide a shortcut to switch to this function, so you will be able to switch tools quickly. (Number 1-6 keys are mapped to mesh tools respectively.)
https://rainyrizzle.github.io/en/AdvancedManual/AD_MeshEdit.html
3. Copying vertices
Yes, that's a feature we haven't implemented yet.
We will provide it through a near update.
4. Layers in PSD files are not imported in the correct order
This is a problem we've never seen before.
The objects must be created in the order of the PSD file within the mesh group, otherwise, it is most likely a bug.
If you encounter this problem, please let us know again.
Please note, however, that this means that they are sorted within a "mesh group", not that meshes in the Hierarchy are created in the layer order.
In Hierarchy, meshes are created in the order they are baked in Atlas. So it is not guaranteed to follow PSD layer order.
Thank you for leaving comments.
Your comments are good for us to improve the tool.
Thank you!
Alright... Good news. It was caused by Reset Vertices. I clicked this button instead of Remove All Verticles. That's why all atlas has become visible on Mesh Group. Sorry for false alert!! My apologies.
But my four suggestion still applies. I need them.
The app has received so many updates but still hasn't been able to make the UI "useful" for the user.
1- There is no multi-select feature for meshes. A huge loss. It is necessary to select all meshes with Shift+Click just like Photoshop or any art program. In 1.3.3 version, there is automatically create vertex option but unfortunately you have to select all meshes one by one. Why do we struggle one by one when we can do it all with one click? Total waste of time.
2- No multi select when creating custom vertex. We have to move the vertexes one by one, which is a waste of time. Having a Lasso tool is a must.
3- It does not have the ability to copy vertexes. My character has more than one outfit model. And since the silhouettes of these meshes are the same, it would be enough if I copied the same vertex. But since there is no copying, I have to manually recreate the same one by one.
4- Imported PSD files do not correctly sort the layer order. I need to reorder layers from within AnyPortrait. I didn't understand why this happened. This issue still exists in version 1.3.
Please take note of the suggestions, it takes hours/days to create an animation in AnyPortrait as they don't exist. The program's user interface needs improvement to save time and get the job done faster.
